Ashlee Foreman

Voice

Ashlee Foreman is an accomplished soprano vocalist hailing from Akron, Ohio. She discovered her passion for music at a young age, and went on to receive her High School diploma from Cleveland School of the Arts in 2014. Ashlee's talent and dedication led her to study voice with esteemed instructors such as the late Dr. A. Grace Lee Mims of the Cleveland Music Settlement, Amanda Powell, and Noriko Paukert.

Throughout her career, Ashlee has performed with prestigious organizations such as the Akron Symphony Orchestra in Porgy and Bess (2011), and Titanic: The Musical (2012), and The Cleveland Opera, where she made her debut as Clara in Porgy and Bess (2019). Additionally, Ashlee was the guest soloist at the Cleveland NAACP Recognition Dinner in 2011. She has been a guest soloist at Antioch Baptist Church, First Apostolic Faith Church, and Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. 

Ashlee's talent has not gone unnoticed, and she has been the recipient of several scholarships and awards throughout her career. She was awarded the Key Bank Music Scholarship in 2014, and the Excellence for the Arts Scholarship from 2014-2017. In May 2019, she earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Cleveland State University, and in May 2021, she received her Master of Music from the University of Akron. Ashlee was also the recipient of African American Spiritual performance scholarships named for the late A. Grace Lee Mims, with whom she studied voice.

With a deep understanding of the power of music to connect and inspire, Ashlee has dedicated herself to sharing her talents and passion with others. She has served as an Artistic Outreach Intern, singing the role of Princess Pamina in Apollo's Fire's in-school workshops and performances, and has worked with a number of community organizations to promote music education and appreciation.

As she continues to captivate audiences with her stunning performances, Ashlee Foreman is quickly becoming a leading voice in the world of classical music. Her commitment to excellence and passion for her art form make her a truly exceptional talent, and one to watch in the years to come.
